Why Us instead of somebody else? We have experience in the corporate world and sometimes were frustrated with recruiters who used our time gathering information, but did not produce results or keep us informed. Levels of service

We offer clients three basic levels of search service: "contingency", "hourly", or "retained".

Contingency means no up front payment. We earn a fee only if we succeed in filling the position; client takes no risk. There are no restrictions to the client doing his own advertising or using other recruiters. There is no contract to sign (we provide a simple statement of fees). At this level, we will search for available candidates using considerable resources as explained below. We will also develop additional candidates through referrals from the existing candidates we are qualifying.

The Hourly option is useful if a client wants retained level service but wants to maintain tight control over ability to shut down at a moment's notice without further charge, or at a specified expenditure level.

Retained means we are retained with an up front payment, are compensated according to a contract, and are obligated to provide search services in accordance with that contract. On retained search, we utilize all the same resources as in contingency but in addition, we will design and implement a recruiting plan that includes target sources, utilizes specialists called "researchers" to identify specific individuals working at those sources, and then try to develop these individuals as candidates with interest in the client's position. On a retained search, we become doggedly determined and work hand-in-glove with our client on an exclusive basis.

We're flexible We are also willing to package our service levels to suit the client; the object is to fill the position with the best possible candidate in the least amount of time. For temporary / project based use of professional talent we offer Contract Staffing. We can meet your contract staffing needs through our affiliations with Top Echelon Contracting, Inc., which allows us to supply our client companies with top-notch professionals for a specific length of time or for a specific project. The contractor is the employee of our contracting division, freeing our client from administrative problems, tax and workers' compensation issues, payroll, and unemployment liabilities.
Our Payrolling Service is useful for utilizing skills without adding to your payroll, for example summer employment, temporary use of retirees, internships, 1099 conversions, etc. We offer "A la Carte Services" – for example administration services, technical consulting services, Internet Search, Top Echelon Network Search.

Resources

Our resources are considerable. We have several candidate databases, which will be searched initially and thereafter daily through automated methods. Many of these candidates are not “actively looking” or watching employment ads or internet sites. The basic databases include about 60,000 recently recruited candidates whose skills and requirements are well documented, for matching to client specifications. In addition there are databases of several hundred thousand persons whose resumes can be searched, but whose requirements have not been documented. These databases are proprietary and not accessible to the general public. We notify 650 associated recruiting firms of a client's open position within minutes of receiving a search assignment. In addition, we post a client's job specifications to hundreds of appropriate web sites, in hopes of attracting additional candidates. Please note, there is no charge for any of this; it is all covered by the contingency fee. At the same time we are gathering and talking to potential candidates we are also constantly seeking referral of others. At the higher service level, our skills for candidate development of candidates extracted from target sources are well developed with over 20 years of experience in the business.

Working Relationship

Most important to us in our working relationship with a client is speed and quality of communication. We need to know the detailed requirements of the position. If we present a candidate who falls short, we need to know why so that we can refine our qualifying questions to avoid a repeat performance. It is therefore highly desirable to be allowed direct contact with the hiring authority

The purpose of any information we gather is to allow us to qualify people so that we present only on target, interested people to you, and to sell your opportunity to them.
